A man in the east is behind bars after lawmen say he shot his uncle at their workplace.
It happened on Potters Hill Loop Road in Beulaville in Duplin County Friday afternoon.
Deputies say an altercation between Jonathan Steed and his uncle Joey Thigpen lead to the shooting at Thigpen's shop.
Steed's uncle was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. He has since been released.
Another employee was present at the time of the shooting but was not injured.
