Naked Suspect Arrested In Jones County

It's a call Maysville Police won't soon forget. A man suspected in a breaking and entering was naked and making his getaway on a skateboard.

Police say when they finally caught up to 22-year-old Morris Ellison of Newport he was in a car with angry victims surrounding it. The car ran out of gas and he was arrested.

Police say Ellison went to 303 Bynum Avenue to break in, but was surprised by the victim. Ellison, who at some point had a sawed off shotgun, attempted to run, but he was met by angry citizens who confronted him and attempted to detain him, until law enforcement could arrive. Ellison briefly got away and somehow lost his clothes in the process, before jumping on a skateboard to take off.

Ellison is charged with several offenses and jailed on $50,000 bond.

I liked the part of the story about "surrounded by angry victims". We need more of that. People are really fed up with this BS.

The thing that's still puzzling me is.. when you're skiing and you lose everything in a tumble (skis, hat, poles, gloves maybe - it's called a "yard sale"), you still have your basic clothing on. Anyone that's taken a fall on a hill knows it can be rough. Just what exactly went on that he "lost" all his clothes while trying to escape? How little was he wearing in the first place? If you're fully dressed it takes a little effort at least. Saggin pants and nothing else? I'm dying to know.
