Deputies say power was restored within an hour after a driver crashed into a utility pole, knocking out power to the surrounding neighborhood.
It happened around 3:30AM on Monday in Jones County, near the intersection of Copeland Farm Road and Moore Road.
Deputies said an unknown driver crashed into a utility pole, then fled the scene. In the meantime, power crews were called out to restore power to nearby customers.
Dispatchers said power was restored by 4:30AM.
