Kilo Of Coke Found In McDonald's Parking Lot

A kilo of cocaine was seized Sunday after a traffic stop in a McDonald's parking lot in Duplin County.

Luis Sanchez was charged with four counts of trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle, felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say they had received information that the Rose Hill man would be transporting drugs to the Beulaville area. His vehicle was stopped in the McDonald's parking lot in Beulaville where a drug dog alerted deputies.

The cocaine has a street value of $100,000. Sanchez is being held on a $500,000 bond and has a February 24th court date.

Why has this become a racial topic? a stereo typical topic? This is another person who has committed a crime that, yes needs to be judged for, but who are we really to judge a human being for who they are? I am an American, born and raised, but Mexican by blood. By stereo typing a crime with a race is ignorance that we must change. I don't defend this person because of the nature of the crime, but because he appears Mexican. That has nothing to do with the crime. In 9/11 we judged all Muslims as terrorist, but in reality only a few of bad people spoil an entire group of people that has took America to war and has coasted us Hundreds of American soldiers. A war that is unnecessary. So next time we see a criminal, Hispanic, or not, lets stay away from racial topics.>>>>For all ignorant comments.

The legals and illegals play our system for all it's worth. It's a shame noone in congress has the guts to stand up for our countries rights and put a stop to this type of dope dealing. We don't know who is really over here in the US, they kill over in Mexico, then run to the US to do the same thing.

Notice our military is in close to 200 other countries of the world right now. But the regime in Washington D.C. will not even allow Arizona to enforce it's own border with Mexico...If we had our armed forces defending our own country, where they belong, they could hold hands along the southern border of the U.S. There are very powerful people who don't want this to happen.

I went to school with this person, he was born in NC. That makes him a "citizen", so can you please stop blaming us illegal aliens for what you "legal" people do.

A person born from non-citizen parents within our borders has duel citizenship and must decide his country at age 21. The original writer was correct.

This is why all of them should be put on the boat that they brought the "cocaine" here in and be sent back to where they came from. They are the main ones bringing it into the U.S. and is still being allowed to come here and live tax free.
