On the day before Father's Day, a dad, mom and five children were left homeless after a fire in Duplin County.
Beulaville police say the fire on John Hall Farm Lane started around 6:45 p.m. Saturday because of an electrical problem inside the mobile home involving the air conditioning unit.
The family lost everything in the blaze and they have no insurance.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the fire.
Fire Chief Joey Carter says the Red Cross has been called in to assist the family and churches in the area are also pitching in to help.
