A local hospital signs a new lease agreement with the University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina and says this will help enhance services to residents in that community.
Thursday, representatives from UHS, Duplin General Hospital and county commissioners celebrated the new agreement.
Duplin General Hospital is one out of seven now operated by the non-profit corporation.
Officials are looking forward to enhancing services and providing new resources to local residents.
