The sentencing for a Duplin County man, who authorities say ran one of the worst dog fighting operations that they have seen in recent years, will be delayed.
Harry Hargrove pled guilty to charges against him in March. He now faces up to five years in federal prison.
Last April 35 pit bulls were confiscated and several other dogs were found dead at the man's Duplin County home outside of Mount Olive.
Hargrove was supposed to be sentenced in Federal Court in Raleigh on Wednesday, but the judge in the case has delayed that hearing. No new date has been set yet.
