A man wanted for running a meth lab in Duplin county was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he was on the run for more than a week.
Sheriff Blake Wallace says 34-year-old James Simpson was found hiding out in Onslow County and is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a weapon of mass destruction after a pipe bomb was found at his mobile home on on Sandridge Road near Beulaville last Monday.

Deputies and the State Bureau of Investigation are looking for a man they say was running a meth lab.
Duplin County Sheriff Blake Wallace says 34-year-old James Simpson fled a mobile home yesterday afternoon on Sandridge Road just outside of Beulaville when a deputy and police officer responded to a suspicious activity call.
Sheriff Wallace says Simpson is also known to live at 581 Cypress Creek Road in Richlands, that's in Onslow County.
The sheriff says 39-year-old Lisa Pierce was arrested at the scene for possession of a weapon of mass distruction after a pipe bomb was discovered at the secluded home.
