Deputies are investigating what started a fire that damaged a mobile home that's been vacant since Hurricane Irene.
No one was injured in the fire at the home on Copeland Farm Road. It was reported around 2:30 a.m.
Deputies say three people use to live there, but they have been out of state since the hurricane because of water damage.
Fire crews were at the scene for several hours this morning.
The Jones County Sheriff's Department says they responded to a mobile home fire in Beaver Creek early Tuesday.
Officials were called to a mobile home on Copeland Farm Rd. just before 2:30 a.m.
Crews remained on the scene for hours, and the fire marshal was called to the home. We were not able to confirm yet if anyone was inside the home or if there were any injuries.
