Three local fire departments responded to a barn on fire early Monday.
The fire was reported just after 3:30 a.m. at 151 Great Lake Rd. in Maysville. Dispatchers in Jones County say the fire was reported as "fully involved," and they sent the Maysville Fire Department to fight the blaze. Dispatchers in Carteret County say crews from Stella and Western Carteret were also sent to battle the blaze.
No word on any injuries or the cause of the fire.
