A tree was struck by lightning in the Onslow County town of Richlands. That happened on Kinston Highway at 9:11 p.m.
A blocked part of Highway 11 south of Pink Hill in Lenoir County. Law enforcement reported that to NWS at 8:55 p.m.
Trees were reported down in Calypso in Duplin County at 6:48 p.m. The report blames the damage on the wind.
