Thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the victim. May God be with them all. This was a total freak accident from what was being described. Unfortunate freak accident!

As a co worker to Frank who will be sorely missed by all, I wanted to send out to his family my deepest sympathy and prayers during this most difficult time.

6 months ago, I nearly hit a bear 3 miles north of Pollocksville on Hwy 58. It was about 10 P.M.....Had I not swerved into the left lane, I would have hit the bear. I count my blessings. I'm sure this man couldn't avoid the deer...they can change direction in mid-stride and are impossible to predict. I have been lucky not to hit one in my life. (Knock on wood)

Deer always worried me when I lived in that area, I eventually stopped riding after dark for the most part because they are so thick. My thoughts and prayers go out to this mans family. A tragic, sudden loss such as this is never easy.
