Charges against members of Willie Nelson's band are still pending.
Officials say they're still awaiting results from a drug analysis test to ensure what was confiscated from the band was in fact marijuana.
The North Carolina Division of Alcohol Law Enforcement cited six members of Willie Nelson's band for possession of moonshine and marijuana.
Nelson was scheduled to perform in Kenansville back in January at the Duplin County Events Center but it was cancelled.
Concert promoters said they cancelled the event because Nelson was in pain due to recent hand surgery.
Since then, residents of the community have complained about the cancellation saying the band was targeted by police.
District Attorney Dewey Hudson says its only fair to cite those who are doing wrong.
Nelson was not present at the time the six band members were cited.
