A suspected heroin dealer is behind bars after authorities say they found a sock stuffed with the drug from Mexico.
The Duplin County Sheriff's Office says it arrested Anthony Jamar James Monday on numerous heroin trafficking charges.
They say an investigation revealed he had hidden 92 packages of heroin from Mexico worth nearly two thousand dollars, in a sock stashed inside of his clothing.
They say he was planning to sell it in the Wallace area. James is in jail on a million dollar bond.
