Lawmen: Meth Lab Busted In Duplin County, Suspects Arrested

Two people are behind bars accused of running a meth lab in Duplin County.

Jacksonville police say they found 19-year-old Shelby Sholar of Wallace and 21-year-old Justin Griffin of Wallace transporting methampehtamines during a routine traffic stop.

Authorities say they, along with Duplin County lawmen, then went to the suspects' home on Lawton Road in Duplin County, where they found a fully operational meth lab.

The suspects each face seven charges. Sholar is locked up on a $400,000 bond while Griffin's bond was set at $405,000.

Just wanted to say I am so sorry these kids have gotten messed up with this stuff. It is awful mess and will ruin families. I think everyone needs to stop judging these people, what is done is done, pray for them to get the help they need to get off of this mess and get get themselves cleaned up. The baby that was in the home is probably better off until the parents can get clean. All I know to do is to pray for them all.

A lot of people that are strung out on Meth don't make it to sell, they make it to feed their own addiction. These people do need to go to jail but they also need help when they get out. When people go to jail then they get out they go right back to the same neighborhoods and hang out with the same people, its all they know. They need more help than just jail.

I'm sure there are plenty of crooked cops in Duplin County, but do you actually think they planted a functioning meth lab in someones home? I dont trust the police as far as I can throw them, but I highly doubt it.
