A fire at a building supply store heavily damaged the business Thursday morning in Duplin County.
No one was injured in the two-alarm fire at Builders Discount Center on Railroad Street.
The fire was discovered around 6:00 a.m. It started in the back of the warehouse, and there's no visible damage from the front of the business.
Piles and piles of vinyl siding caught fire and burned. With lumber and siding inside, neighboring businesses say the fire could have been a lot worse.
Right now authorities say they do not have a cause yet and owners say they hope to reopen in the front part of the building by early next week.
