Carma, it can be a bad thing. Alvin Smith was in a motor vehicle accident in 2006 and that man is still around, but without a leg, his life and career totally changed forever. How ever he is still here to help other amputees in need. Alvin Smith isn't, Harold Krause is still here in prison and will be judged in the end for his life. So shall we all, the good and the bad that we have done or accomplished. Carma, Mr Smith lead a life on the edge and it came back to haunt him. Mr Krause has been delt with the justice the courts have given him. As for me I live day to day in the hopes that I am doing what is right. It is not for me to judge, but the freedom of speach, allows you to know that on that day in Oct 2006 when I was just riding home and then woke up three days later with a broke fimor, shatered ankle, etc.. two yaers later still here. My wife and children have continued with me as I am here to still incourage and inpact the life they live, in spight of what has happened to me.

Back in the good old days, when varmints caused problems, like coyotes or wolves preying on livestock, they put a bounty on them. There was no bag limit, year round season, and you were paid for each one that you trapped or shot. If they would enact this for thugs and gang members, the vermin could be eradicated in a short time.

Cannot believe this man took another mans life and only received 15 to 19 1/2 years. What an insult to the family who mourns for this child. What happened to a life sentence???
