GOOD NEWS: Forecasters Lower Atlantic Hurricane Outlook

Government forecasters are lowering their outlook for this Atlantic hurricane season after a quiet start with no named storms so far.

The National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration on Thursday updated its forecast for the six-month season that runs from June through November. The peak months are August through October.

They now predict a near-normal to below-normal season as the calming effects of El Nino continue to develop.

They forecast seven to 11 named tropical storms, down from a range of nine to 14 in the preseason forecast in May.

Three to six storms could become hurricanes, less than four to seven in the earlier forecast. The new projection says one or two hurricanes could become major storms.

The Concept of Global Warming is a prime example of unintelligent people with a college education. They were a waste of classroom space. Nothing or no one will change seasonal climates except GOD. Maybe all of these rocket scientists should read the last book of the bible sometimes. No weatherman anywhere can predict hurricanes months away. That's just plain stupid. Oh and so is the so called El Nino. Another prime example of wasted education. It's all just another sign that we are truly living in the last days. Read your bibles and then you will know who controls the weather, period.

Now Now OSOC you know Al Gore would not prey on the fear of people to generate a major cash stream! But even if he did, he needs the money as he is spending over $30,000 a month at ONE of his homes and he has to buy Carbon Offsets (whatever that is?)or at least he is claiming buying the offsets? LOL (satirical of course!).

Dave, I don't believe in global warming anymore that hurricane seeds. Just as I posted here. Here is some comon sense, go to look up glacier girl, the story of the P-38 planes that landed in Iceland in the late 45 years. Then ponder, how could they have been under 250 feet of ice? Did they fly again after the landed in the ice? Come on, no one can be that stupid, but Al Gore took the quest, he is that stupid. He then persuaded other countries by abusing his power as a vice president, it exists. Well, it don't. It peaked 10 years ago and now we are in Global Cooling. He is making money, millions for himself, with this myth. Then he as his liberal scientist testify, claim and proclaim it exists so the can get money for their research. See the scam. Yet, so many in the country believe him since he perpetrated the "perfect crime". They will be paying big bucks for it, so will us. Look up average temps in NC.

These weather genius HACKS forecasted for years that we were due horrific storms so they could support their global warming myth. After years of ruining their credibility for a LIE they have finally had to try and save face.

Alright Mr Bush, did you tell Obama where the hurrican seeds are kept? I hate it when you have to brake in a new pres. You would think this information would be in the Whitehouse protcol by now. Hopefully, he won't get as carried away as George did. George used the Katrina Seed which no one told him about. You have to be carefull how you seed a hurricane. Bill Clinton used to add beer to his, they would stager, bump off of the coast and then go to sleep.
