"Round Up" Brings In 40 Drug Suspects

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office teamed up with the Goldsboro Police Department and other agencies to arrest about forty drug suspects.

Lawmen say the suspects range from street-level dealers to high-level traffickers of drugs.

The "round up" on Tuesday left the forty suspects facing more than one hundred charges.

Lawmen say the "round up" was a collaborative effort of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the Goldsboro police Department, the Mount Olive Police Department, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office, the Jacksonville Police Department, the Greenville Drug Task Force, the D.E.A. office in Raleigh and the
N.C. Department of Revenue.

    Did you get any off Market Street in Washington??? You can see drug deals all day long in broad light on Market Street. They hang all out in the middle of the street, will not move for on-coming traffic and act like they are strung-out and want you to hit them. Pants hanging all down to their knees, in fact several killings have happened on Market St. this year. CLEAN IT UP!!!

    the court system isn't going to do any thing to these people.so stop wasting my tax money on giving them month's in prison.Give them year's and you could control this problem and a few more i could think of.
