Repairs to a water main in Jones county will mean some residents will be without water for several hours Tuesday.
Water consumers of Jones County Regional Water System in the town of Maysville and all of Highway 58 South located within Jones County will be experiencing periods of low pressure and outages while the repairs are underway. The work to repair the water main is expected to begin between the hours of 9:00 a.m. thru 2:00 p.m. on October 5th. The water is expected to be off two or three hours during the repair.
The division of environmental health advises that when water is restored consumers boil all water used for human consumption. The advisory will remain in effect until further written notification is issued by Jones County.
