A woman says seat belts saved her after her van rolled several times this morning.
One lane of Highway 70 in James City was closed because of the crash near the railroad crossing.
The woman says she and her three year old daughter were in the van when a tractor trailer struck them. The two had to climb out a rear window and were bruised up a bit, but didn't require treatment.
Troopers say the tractor trailer was trying to make a right turn and swung wide, hitting the van which was in the other lane. The big rig driver was given an unsafe movement violation.
Highway 70 in Craven County is partially closed down because of an accident this morning.
