Two Injured In Craven County Crash

A crash Wednesday night in Craven County sent two people to the hospital.

Troopers say just before 8:00 p.m. in Vanceboro a Volkswagen Jetta on River Road made a left onto Highway 118 in front of a Cadillac limo.

The driver of the limo and the passenger in the Jetta were taken to Vidant Medical Center with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no passengers in the limo.

The driver of the Jetta will be charged with failure to yield.
