A stuck drawbridge, that was closed to traffic for most of Monday afternoon, is now re-opened to vehicles.
The Alfred Cunningham Bridge in New Bern was stuck open around 1:00 p.m. The bridge crosses the Trent River in downtown New Bern.
The D.O.T. says an electrical issue caused the problem, parts were replaced, and the bridge was opening and closing just fine.
The bridge re-opened to traffic around 4:25 p.m.
