City officials in Havelock says crews will be conducting smoke testing Thursday, but residents need not worry.
The testing is planned for the Weyerhauser lift station, Village Ct., Jenny Ln., Gooding Dr., Kobe Dr., Jerrett Ln. and McCotter Blvd., from 101 to Jerrett Ln.
All of Rice Ln. from McCotter Blvd. to Mesquite Ct. is also planned to have smoke testing Thursday.
According to city officials, the smoke is non-toxic and will not stain. It is not hazardous to breathe.
