New Bern Police say a man who lived at an assisted living facility died during a fire at Brunswick House on Colony Drive about 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
Police say 10 apartments were evacuated, but the fire was contained to just one unit where the man died. Tenants were allowed back in about 9:15 p.m.
Police say there is no foul play suspected, but the cause of the fire was unknown Wednesday night.
