The Craven County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a recent home invasion and are now asking for the public's help in locating another suspect.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old John Nigh and charged him with possession of a firearm by felon, first degree burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon. He's in the Craven County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Deputies say on April 17th Nigh and another suspect, 26-year-old Andrew Potter, entered a home at 500 Piney Neck Road in Vanceboro looking for prescription drugs. The homeowners home at the time and were forced at gunpoint into another room while they were robbed.

The Craven County sheriff's Office says they are still looking for Potter, who has a New Bern address.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 252-636-6620.
