No Sign Of Stolen Fire Department Equipment

It's been more than a week since critical lifesaving gear was stolen from a fire department in the east and officials say so far nothing has turned up.

The weekend of March 24th someone stole thousands of dollars worth of technical rescue equipment from three trailers behind the main New Bern Fire Department on Broad Street.

Chief Bobby Aster says they are working with their insurance company to replace the equipment.

In the meantime, the Greenville Fire Department technical response team has been put on standby to help out if that type of equipment is needed.
