Police are searching for a suspect who they believe shot and killed a New Bern man in Pennsylvania on Friday.
According to York City police they were called to the 400 block of Walnut Street to a report of a shooting around 11:55 a.m.
Police arrived on scene and found 29-year-old Kanyleron McDavid of New Bern unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. He was found on the third floor of a residence. McDavid was pronounced dead at the scene.
McDavid was a registered sex offender in North Carolina. According to online records he was convicted in 2006 of indecent liberties with a minor.
Police are now searching for 20-year-old Rashaun Bush. They say Bush should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should contact York City police at 846-1234, Tip Line at 849-2204 or text "YORKTIPS" at 847411.
