A New Bern man will spend at least the next 14-years in prison for sex offenses against a child.
Craven County District Attorney Scott Thomas says 56-year-old Timothy Brady entered guilty pleas of two sex offenses involving a child.
Brady was sentenced to between 14 and 21-years in prison.
He entered a guilty plea to one count of first degree sex offense against a child, and one count of taking indecent liberties with a minor.
The offenses occurred over a period of years, ending in 2013 when the victim reported the crimes and was interviewed.
Once released from prison, Brady will be required to register as a sex offender for life, and will be subject to satellite-based monitoring for the rest of his life
