A Craven County man will spend at least the next four years in prison after admitting he robbed a store at gunpoint.
District Attorney Scott Thomas says Demetrius Woods was convicted Tuesday of robbing the Dollar General in Vanceboro back on December 20th.
The 23-year-old walked around the store for a few minutes before taking out a handgun and a knife and demanded money from the cashier.
Thomas says Woods got away with just $145.00, but was caught on camera as he left the store.
He was eventually identified and confessed to the robbery under questioning.
The judge sentenced woods to between just over 4-years to a little more than 6-years in prison.
