Havelock Teens Facing Charges For Violent Fight

Charges have been filed for a fight so violent, it sent teenagers to the hospital, one by helicopter.

Havelock Police are investigating the May 3rd brawl off Rice Lane, according to the Havelock News, which reports 18-year-old Andrew Bradley and 16-year-old Frederick Thomas are charged in the fight. There is also a juvenile charged, but their name has not been released.

The mother of one of the victims, Drew Britton, told the paper her son was treated for a concussion, and she saw cell phone video of the fight.

The Havelock News says the police chief thinks the fight might have started as an argument at Havelock High School. The paper says Bradley was named defensive MVP in Havelock High's State Championship football win last year.
