Officials say a two-vehicle accident sent two people to the hospital Friday night.
It happened on Highway 17 in Bridgeton at the Handy Mart in Craven County.
According to Highway Patrol, a pickup truck made an abrupt lane change and the SUV behind it didn't have time to react.
We're told the SUV hit the truck, causing it to hit a ditch and flip.
While the person in the SUV was not injured, the truck's driver and a passenger were sent to the hospital.
Troopers say the truck's driver was taken to CarolinaEast Medical Center. It's not yet known where the passenger was transported to. No word yet on the extent of their injuries.
Highway Patrol says charges are pending.
