Craven county officials say they have located a man that was lost in the Croatan National Forest for hours on Saturday.
A ground team found the man, Christopher Trice, around 9 p.m. They used his cell phone to track his location.
Officials say Trice had been hunting and they found him about 2 miles from his truck. He was tired and cold, but overall doing fine.
The man is an active duty marine from Havelock.
Craven County search teams are looking for a man they say got lost while walking around in the Croatan National Forest.
Officers got a call from the man around 3:40 p.m. Saturday. The man told officers he knows where he is, but he does not know how to get out.
Search teams have already located his vehicle. They hope to reach him shortly.
The Craven Township 6 and Little Swift Creek Fire departments are using ATV's to navigate the forest as they search for the man.
