A local mom already charged with tattooing a heart on her 11-year-old daughter is now facing more charges.
Two more charges were filed in Craven County, against 30-year-old Odessa Clay of Grantsboro. The new charges are tattooing without a permit and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Those are in addition to the original charge of tattooing a person under the age of 18.
Clay told authorities that the daughter wanted the tattoo. She's due in court next Thursday.

Craven County lawmen arrested Odessa Clay and charged her with "tattooing a person under the age of 18." Multiple media outlets report that Clay, who as you can see has several tattoos of her own, used her own tools to tattoo a small heart on the 11-year-old girl's shoulder.
Clay is due in court November 15th.
