CAUGHT ON CAMERA: New Bern Pharmacy Break-In Suspect Nabbed

Police have arrested a man who they say was caught on camera breaking into a pharmacy Monday night.

New Bern police have charged Justin Dawson of Vanceboro with felony breaking and entering and possession of drug paraphernalia. Once getting the store surveillance video, police were able to identify Dawson after speaking with the staff at Realo Pharmacy on Commerce Drive and neighbors of the store.

They say he was in and out of the business in seconds...breaking the front glass window and making off with a large quantity of drugs.

Dawson's bond was set at $30,000.

Police are hoping you can help identify a man who broke into a pharmacy Monday night.

New Bern police say the Realo Pharmacy on Commerce Road was burglarized around 11:20 p.m. The man appears to have had a red hat or cloth covering his face, a green shirt or jacket and wearing blue jeans.
