A Bridgeton couple have been arrested for a home invasion that happened last week.
Craven County deputies say Kevin Simpson, Jr. and Madeline Arthur have been charged with first degree burglary, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, and three counts of 2nd degree kidnapping.
The home invasion happened last Tuesday night at a home on Highway 55, according to arrest warrants. It says the two were armed with a firearm when they broke into the home with three people inside between 9:20 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Simpson, who has a $550,000 bond, is also charged with a robbery that happened in the parking lot of Mickey Milligan's the next day in which $60 in cash was taken.
Arthur's bond was set at $60,000.
