New Bern says a water main break has been repaired for one part of the city.

Those people who lived on Midyette Avenue, Powell Street, Pinecrest Avenue, Richard Court, Christian Court, Karen Street, Taylor Street, Delsea Court, and the Pinecrest Mobile Home Park residents were under a boil water advisory because of the leak.

The city says testing now shows the water is safe to drink.

Those who live on Midyette Avenue, Powell Street, Pinecrest Avenue, Richard Court, Christian Court, Karen Street, Taylor Street, Delsea Court, and the Pinecrest Mobile Home Park may already have low water pressure because of the break. Those residents are also being told to boil all water for human consumption for one minute or use bottled water.

After the repair is fixed the city will have to perform tests to make sure the water is okay to drink.
