All Roads Reopened In Croatan Naitonal Forest Area

The U.S. Forest service reopened all roads in the Croatan National Forest Thursday that were closed as part of the wildfire that began last month.

The roads and areas around the fire, including the Black Swamp area, have been rehabilitated and are now open to the public. The public is asked to continue to drive slowly and carefully as there are still firefighters patrolling the areas. The fire burned just over 21,000 acres.
