Thirteen Arrested In Newport Drug Investigation

Thirteen people are under arrest following an undercover drug operation.

The arrests happened Wednesday in Newport. Lawmen confiscated more than 27 grams of crack, over 4 grams of powder cocaine, 6.5 grams of marijuana, and 25 prescription pills.

Authorities say the suspects were arrested from both Carteret and Craven counties, with focus on those frequenting Newport solely for the purpose of drug activity.

    Larry- Look at Carteret News Times online. There is a list of everyone who got busted and what they got busted with. Not sure why this story doesnt give more details.

    If Pamlico is ignoring your information, they must be benefiting in some way!!! CORRUPTION is everywhere and obiously in Pamlico County.

    why can't Pamlico Sheriff's dept get on board and bust people who are repeatedly identified as selling and dealing...I've even given them the address!!!!
