It appears someone has been manufacturing meth again at a garage in Craven County where suspects were busted last year doing the same thing.
Several officers got sick in that raid last April along Highway that sent three people to jail. No one has been living in the adjacent house since then.
Craven County Sheriff's officials say they were responding to a stolen property call when they made the discovery Thursday. Sheriff's Captain Joe Heckman says, "There's some precursor stuff, um, there's items that show there's been meth cooked here recently."
Neighbors like William Petifer say they're getting sick of the meth labs. "It is bad to see em out here cuz it never happened, in a long time, we never had this problem around here."
There are currently no suspects.
