New Bern H.S. Principal Leaving For County Post

The search is on for a new principal for New Bern High School.

It was announced Tuesday that Stuart Blount, who has held the position for the past three years, will take a new job as assistant superintendent of Scotland County Schools in Laurinburg.

Blount has been with the school system in Craven County for almost 20 years. His last day is December 31st.

    I am apalled at the censorship & lack of truthfulness displayed by WITN. It's quite obvious that this station doesn't report the objective facts. the purpose here is to influence agenda. There is a lot not reported because WITN lacks the integity to serve the facts. Shame on you for being an instrument of liberalism.

    I know that the teachers and students there are sure glad that he is finally leaving. That man did nothing for that school but it further behind. Morale there for the last 2 years has sucked. Stuart you are without a doubt a loser!!!

    During his tenure football players have stolen shoes & there's been a rape in the bathroom. he deserves to be promoted. nice refection on the board of ed.
