The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has cancelled a Silver Alert for a man missing from an assisted living home in Craven County.
Gerrol Delemar is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, according to authorities.
Delemar was last seen leaving an assisted living home in a wheel chair. The address the Silver Alert gives is 104 Efird Blvd. in Riverbend. That is the address of Christian Care in New Bern, described as an "independent and assisted living" facility.
Lawmen think Delemar could be headed north on Highway 17 in a blue pick-up truck.
The Silver Alert was issued at 3:13 a.m. Thursday and was cancelled about one hour later.
