Police a missing 14 year old girl has returned home safely.

New Bern police say Yari Eni Santiago was last seen in the area of Walmart and Books-A-Million between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday June 20.

She returned home Thursday afternoon.

Santiago's mother first reported the girl as a runaway to the Craven County Sheriff's Department on Sunday. The New Bern Police department took over the investigation Wednesday.

Close her myspace account. These kids should not be exposed to this crap. This is probably where she met "her boyfriend".

I agree with K-town, we never hear the results of finding these kids. What gotten into these kids leaving home? It's dangerous but my heart goes out to the family and I pray the girl return home soon or found.

This is a very good friend of my daughter's. We told the family that she had been talking, on Friday, about spending the weekend with her "boyfriend". I am very worried about her. She spent nights at my house and is a very loving, respectful and kind hearted young lady.
