There is two new confirmed cases of swine flu here in Eastern Carolina.
Craven County says it has one more confirmed case, and three more suspected cases of the virus. The other new confirmed case is in Carteret County.
This brings the number of confirmed cases to nine, all of those are in Eastern Carolina.
The new case in Craven County is a student at Arthur Edwards Elementary School, which was closed for part of this week.
Most of the cases are tied to a Cherry Point Marine who recently visited New York.
To date Craven County now has 5 confirmed cases, while there are two confirmed cases in both Carteret and Onslow counties.
