Swine Flu Helpful For Daycare Cleanliness

Government officials amended their recommendations Tuesday, saying schools should not be closed because of swine flu.

Meantime daycare facilities are using the virus as a reminder for good hygiene.

Officials at Trinity Presbyterian Daycare in Havelock say only a few students from Arthur Edwards whose parents teach at Trinity are currently attending the daycare.

Teachers at Trinity say they are reminding children to cover their mouths with an arm if they need to sneeze or cough. And while some teachers believe the swine flu virus may be getting too much hype, they say it's helpful in getting children to wash their hands.
