You think your paper is bad, try the Kinston Free Press. They will not print any local news.

cant tell by the picture but if this isnt a high end car then someones got connections. If its a civic getting stolen (#1 stolen car) no one would care but if it was a high dollar or person of importance then authorities would take a 2nd look.

It does not surprise me that it did not make the local paper. About 2-3 years ago there were a series of breakin in my neighborhood. The criminals either would breakin during 8-10 pm time frame or during the 7am -9am time frame They would wait 10-14 days then strike again. There were about 10 breakin during the course of 2 months and it never made the greenvile paper. I inquired and was told that they only reported on robberies/burglaries that over $500 and that they deemed there readers would be interested in. I know several officers and they have all told me that what you see in the paper or on the news is only about half the stuff that goes on and if you only knew the things they deal with.

To Me: It's the perp's reflection in the window. Watch the tape on WITN tonight at 6.

is that a reflection of the alledged perp's own arm in the car window, or is there a person sitting in the driver's sea of the car? Inquiring minds want to know...

Get this, the New Bern paper has not reported this! I truly wonder sometimes what the motives of that paper are. Factual reporting is not among them, that is for sure.
