Donations To Honor Cindi Tillett-Knighten

A memorial service was held this weekend for Cindi Tillett-Knighten. She was found dead in her Bridgeton home last Tuesday. Lawmen say her boyfriend, Clarence Phillips, killed her before engaging in a shootout with Lenoir County deputies. Deputy Allen Pearson was killed, and Deputy Ryan Dawson is recovering from injuries. Phillips died after the shootout.

The obituary for Knighten says there was s memorial service for her Saturday in Manteo. It also said donations may be made in Knighten's honor to the Coastal Women's Shelter in New Bern.
