Fast Cash From Fast Food Holdup

Robbers made off with some fast cash Tuesday morning after holding up a fast food restaurant.

New Bern police say the McDonalds on Neuse Boulevard was robbed around 3:00 a.m.

The manager says two men, who had their faces covered with white t-shirts, got into the restaurant through the back door.

One of the robbers pointed a gun at the manager and two employees, while the other went into the office area and took an undisclosed amount of money.

The manager says the two ran out the back door and continued onto toward Glenburnie Road.

The only description employees could give was of the gunman. He's described as a black man, wearing a black t-shirt, red and white basketball type shorts and black and white sneakers.

Anyone with information on this holdup should call New Bern police at 252-633-2020.
