Over 200 people brought signs and banners to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Monday.
130 Marines returned home Monday embraced by friends and family.
The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit spent seven months in the Middle East to support training and operations exercises.
One Marine came home and saw his two week old baby daughter for the first time and called the moment unforgettable.
The returning Marines were from Marine Attack Squadron 231 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 14.
Many of the Marines will be able to take a well deserved vacation before returning to the air base helping to protect our country.
