Reward To Catch Killer

Governor Bev Perdue hopes a 5 thousand dollar reward can help catch the killer in a 6 year old murder case that happened here in the east.

Richard and Rosa Flowers were killed in their Pamlico County home in January of 2003. At the time the murders hit the community hard.

The flowers were well-known and liked, and ran a boat building business.

Vaughn Jones was arrested not long after the brutal killings but was found not guilty late last year after three trials.

The reward is for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the Flowers killer.

We all know who murdered the Flowers. He was tried three times for the crime, but incompetent prosecutors, bumbling inept investigators and stupid jurors let him walk. This is one reward that will never be paid.
